Allen Collins --- Managing Director 

Mr. Allen R. Collins is a Managing Director and Chief Compliance Officer of Ambassador Financial Group. He is responsible for all supervisory duties of the Firm including the implementation of the Written Supervisory Procedures and the Continuing Education (firm and regulatory) Plan, as well as oversight of the Business Continuity Plan. He is also responsible for monitoring the strategic direction of AFG. 

Mr. Collins began his career in the financial services industry in March of 1991 in sales and customer support for Pennsylvania Independent Bank’s Investment Management Services (IMS) division. At the end of 1992 the personnel of Investment Management Services left en masse to form a newly created NASD registered broker/dealer. With this change in regulatory structure, Mr. Collins pursued and achieved series 7 and 63 designations pursuant to registration requirements of the NASD.

During this time Mr. Collins performed a number of roles in his progression through the organization. From his original support roles he moved on to a sales position providing brokerage services to community banks. As the firm grew and needed more consistency in its trading operations, Mr. Collins returned to the desk to serve as full time trader in addition to training new trading desk personnel. These responsibilities led to a role as supervisor of trading desk functions as well as series 24 general securities principal and a series 53 municipal securities principal designations. For many years Mr. Collins served on various iterations of the firm’s management council providing input as to the direction and management of the firm. He ended his tenure at the firm as Chief Compliance Officer responsible for regulatory compliance oversight.

In the community, Mr. Collins has served on the Northampton Area School District board of directors, spent many years as a volunteer and officer for the local youth club, and currently sits on the Northampton Area Public Library board of trustees. Mr. Collins studied Business Administration and Organizational Leadership at Michigan State University and Pennsylvania State University.
